Juanita Bishop of Augusta Ga. went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 2, 2005. Her love for walking horses started over 50 years ago and never faded. Due to health problems she has been unable to attend the past few Celebrations, but has kept up with everyone and the events through the Walking Horse Report.

Bishop was the owner of Lynne-Anne Stables in Evans, Ga. and Bishop Tile Company in earlier years. After owning her own stables, she had horses stabled with other trainers in Tennessee and Georgia. Ebony's Caroline, Lisa's Miss Sunbeam, Handshakers Design, and Another Hostess were a few of her delights. But in the mid 70s, Allan Callaway brought home her first Celebration blue with Ebony's Cover Girl, which was her pride and joy.

Mom was known for her love of horses and her generous heart and will be greatly missed.
