John Boyd Buchanan of Hilham, Tenn., departed this life on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at the age of 64 years. He was a son of the late William Edward and Callie Bailey Buchanan born in West Liberty, Ky., on March 2, 1951. John is survived by his sister, Helen Back of Blanchester, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Edward and Callie Bailey Buchanan and two brothers, Kenneth Buchanan and Willard Buchanan. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 5 at the Porter and Sons Funeral Home in Campton, Ky., with the funeral service taking place on Wednesday.
There is a J.B. Buchanan Memorial Fund setup at Citizens Bank in Gainesboro, Tenn., if you wish to make a contribution. The address is PO Box 515, Gainesboro, TN 38562.
J. B. Buchanan's memorial service plans have been finalized. The service will be Sunday June 7th from 2pm til 5 pm at American Bank & Trust 1450 Neal Street Cookeville, TN 38501.
