Obituary – Michael Scott “Mike” May

Michael Scott “Mike” May, age 79, of Shelbyville, formally of DeLand, Florida passed from this life Monday, November 16, 2020, at NHC of Tullahoma after an extended illness.
Mike was born October 28, 1941, in Newport News, Virginia to the late Leslie T. and Elizabeth Carroll May and is preceded in death by sister, Bonnie Lewis.
Survivors include: Loving wife of 56 years, Connie Pepera May of Shelbyville, Tennessee; and Niece, Susan Cragin of Orlando, Florida.
A graveside service will be held 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, at Willow Mount Cemetery Pastor Jimmy West officiating. Visitation will be held prior to graveside starting at 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Thursday, at Doak-Howell Funeral Home. Family request that masks be worn at the service.
Doak-Howell Funeral Home is serving the family.
