Obituary - Nina Denise Eaton

Nina Denise Eaton, 54, of Bland, Va., passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010 at Wake-Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. after her long battle with cancer. Memorial services were held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at Bastian Church of God with Reverends James Beaver and Dennis Moore officiating. Visitation was held Friday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the church. A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home of White Gate, VA were in charge of the arrangements.

She was born Sept. 28, 1956 in Bland County, daughter of the late Douglas Leon Sr. and Mildred Ramsey Dillow. She is survived by her husband James H. "Jerry" Eaton of Bland, Va.; a son Just (Kristen) Eaton of Pasadena, Md.; four brothers Douglas Leon Jr. (Elaine) Dillow of Bland, Va., Stanley (Bertha) Dillow of Bastain, Va., Mike Dillow of Bland, and Johnny (Barbara) Dillow of Princeton, W. Va. and two grandchildren Sarah and Molly Eaton, both of Pasadena, Md.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.

A great supporter of the Virginia horse industry, Denise was a former judge with the NHSC. She is survived by her husband Jerry, who is currently a DQP.
