Rena Jewell Huber, 68, of May's Lick, Ky. passed away Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center. She was a former beautician and more recently an employee of Wal-Mart.

Mrs. Huber was born in Fleming County on Dec. 16, 1941 daughter of the late Raymond and Beatrice Newsom Gulley. She was a member of May's Lick Baptist Church where she had served as a Sunday school teacher.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Glenn Huber. A daughter Nicole (Gene) Carswell of Morehead, Ky. and a son Glenn (Karri) Huber of Maysville. 3 grandchildren, Luke Carswell, Megan and Emily Huber.  6 sisters, Emma Fay Defosse of Maysville, Ky.; Eva Jean Boone of Aberdeen, Ohio; Mina Frances Stears of Germantown; Judy Mae Clarke of Calif., Rowena Sue Mingee of Manchester, Ohio, and Tina Lou Yocum of Ia.  2 brothers, J.B. Gulley of Portsmouth, Ohio and Charles Gulley of Aberdeen, Ohio.  She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Helen Marie Geise, Carol Jane Gulley and Carlotta Gulley and a brother Raymond Gulley, Jr.

Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 10 from 6:00-8:00p.m. at Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick, Ky. Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010 with Reverend Bill Boldt officiating.  Interment will follow in the Charleston Bottoms Cemetery.  Memorials suggested to May’s Lick Baptist Church and condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net.
