Obituary - Ronald Evans Green Sr.

Funeral services for Mr. Ronald Evans Green Sr. age 66 of Shelbyville will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, November 13, 2008 at Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Brother Lytle Thomas officiating. Entombment will follow in the Greer Cemetery. Mr. Green died Monday evening, Nov. 10, 2008, at his residence after an extended illness. 


Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5 until 8pm at the funeral home.


A native of Giles County, he was the son of the late Toby Green and Cora Lee Weatherford Green, trained and showed Tennessee Walking Horses his entire life, was a member of the Tennessee Walking Horse Trainer’s and Breeder’s Associations, and was a member of the Fairlane Church of Christ.


Survived by his wife of 47 years; Diane R. Hale Green of Shelbyville

                Jeffrey Lee Green, Charles Ray Green both of Shelbyville

Sister; Sandra Thomas of Nashville, Tenn.
