Obituary – Tom Nance
Wednesday, April 25, 2007
The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration, is mourning the loss of former ringmaster Tom Nance. Nance, 39, and a resident of Murfreesboro, Tenn., died just before midnight on Monday, April 23.
“Tom was simply a wonderful human being,” said Celebration CEO Ron Thomas. “Our center ring staff is a close-knit group and Tom endeared himself to all of us in very short order. His time with us was far too brief. He was professional in everything he did, but most of all he was a devoted husband and loving father. Our thoughts are with Amy and the children.”
Memorials in memory of Nance may be made to the Thomas E. Nance Memorial Fund for the benefit of his children at any Pinnacle Financial Partners, 114 W. College Street, Murfreesboro, TN 37130.
