Obituary - Valorie Kaye Derickson Marcum

Valorie Kaye Derickson Marcum, 54, wife of Greg Marcum, passed away Friday, February 26 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born November 7, 1961 in Winchester to H.T. and Wilda Martin Derickson. Survivors include, husband, Greg Marcum, Stanton; parents, H.T. and Wilda Derickson, Stanton; sisters, Vera Derickson Patterson and husband, Larry, Stanton and Vanessa Derickson Crowe and husband, Bruce, Stanton; brothers, Herbert and wife, Jill, Derickson, Wartrace, TN and James Clay Derickson, Stanton; mother-in-law, Winie Marcum; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church, Rosslyn, KY.
Valorie was best knowm in the Walking Horse industry winning blue ribbons on her show pleasure mare Lady of Masterpiece including a world championship title. She shared the love of the Tennessee Walking Horse with her friends and family.
