Obituary: William Paul Nelms



Obituary: Mr. William Paul Nelms, age 76 of Liberty Valley Road, died Monday, March 26, 2007 in Maury Regional Hospital. Mr. Nelms was a native of Marshall County, Tennessee and son of the late James Robert and Jessie Ruth Womack Nelms. He was a charter member of the Belfast Lions Club, life long Walking Horse Breeder, and dairy farmer for most of his life. He was an Elder of the Belfast Union Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Louise Glenn Nelms of Liberty Valley Road, three brothers, James Thurman Nelms of College Grove, Robert Doyle Nelms of Texas and Lewis Nelms of Shelbyville. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Old Orchard Cemetery at Petersburg. The family will be at London Funeral Home Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour for visitation.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Old Orchard Cemetery at Petersburg.
