Obituary: Zeke E. Tettleton

Zeke E. Tettleton, age 80, of Farmerville, La., passed away on July 9, 2013, in West Monroe, La. A lifelong resident of Farmerville, Tettleton graduated from Farmerville High School, Louisiana Tech, and Louisiana State University.
Tettleton was active for many years in the Union Parish Chamber of Commerce and Farmerville Lions Club and enjoyed helping those organizations to put on the Union Parish Walking & Racking Horse Show held at the D’Arbonne Range Riders Arena each year. Through those efforts he made many friends in the walking horse industry.
Tettleton is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty Jo Giles Tettleton, and a son Tim Tettleton, both of Farmerville, and a grandson Parker Tettleton of Portland, Ore.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 13, 2013, at First Baptist Church of Farmerville. Memorial donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Farmerville.
