Obituary-Connie H. Gould



Long-time walking horse owner Connie Gould passed away Saturday, Nov. 11, in Phillipsburg, Pa. She is survived by her husband W. Thomas Gould, son G. Thomas Gould, and daughter Susan Gould Sobel.

Mrs. Gould loved the industry, its people, and its horses. She was a member of the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders' and Exhibitors' Association, the Walking Horse Owners' Association, Southwest Breeders and Exhibitors Association, and the Big D Charity Horse Show. She was also a fixture at the Celebration for over 30 years.

Horses owned by the Goulds have included Sun's Fancy Miss, Mack K's Second Story, Gold's Beauty Mark, He's Over Exposed, Touch Of Fantasy, and Mrs. Gould's personal favorite, Trimmed In Gold.

Mrs. Gould was buried in Phillipsburg, Pa., on November 14. Memorial contributions may be sent to Trinity United Methodist Church, Front Street, Phillipsburg, PA. 16866.
