Delward Tinsley, long time lover and supporter of the Tennessee Walking Horse, passed away April 17, 2001, at his home in Hopkinsville, Ky. following an illness.

His journey in the Walking Horse Industry crossed the paths of many great people and horses. He received the most enjoyment out of watching young colts develop. He was fortunate enough to have owned such great colts as I'm In Command, Ultra Gold, Citation's Legend, Pride's Pickle, A Greater Generator and many more. He was known as a friend to many in the Walking Horse Industry and will be sadly missed.

Mr. Tinsley is survived by his wife, Virginia, two grandsons; Mike Wood and Ken Wood, four great-grandchildren all of Hopkinsville, Kentucky. A daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Virginia Del) Wood, preceded him in death.
