Obituary-George Henson

George Erwin Henson, age 84, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2007 at NHC Healthcare in Murfreesboro, Tenn. He is the son of the late Seth Henson and Lizzie Erwin Henson. Henson was an insurance agent for Metropolitan Life. He was well-known in the Tennessee Walking Horse industry as a judge. Henson also served in the U.S. Army Calvary Division.
He is survived by wife Betty Henson, Winchester, Tenn., daughter, Kandy (Leslie) Templeton, Murfreesboro, Tenn., son Christopher (Jennifer) Henson, Murfreesboro, Tenn., sister Sara Horton, Belvidere, Tenn., and grandsons Greg and Brad Templeton and Seth and Noah Henson.
The funeral will be held at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home Monday, March 13, 2007 at 2:00p.m. in Winchester, Tenn.
