Linda Poag died Saturday, November 10, 2007. She was a Teacher at both Harpeth Hall and St. Bernard Academy and Member of the James K. Polk Foundation. Survived by husband, Dr. Kenneth L. Poag of Columbia, TN; son, Mathieu Poag and daughter-in-law, Angela of Antioch, TN; daughter, Ashli Pearce and son-in-law, Darion of Woodstock, GA; grandson, Austin Pearce of Woodstock, GA; sister, Phyllis Ann Papa of Knoxville, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at Williamson Memorial Gardens with Minister Corey Barnette officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association; American Heart Association; or the James K. Polk Foundation. WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, (615) 794-2289.
Friends in the walking horse industry remember Linda and her show ring greats, Ebony’s Energizer, Sleepers Tycoon, Coin’s Tina Lina and Bum’s Costa Plenty.
She will be greatly missed by all.
