Monday, June 12, 2006
WC Powered by Generator was humanly laid to rest yesterday at the Shamrock Farm in Shelbyville following complications from a severe hernia. Powered by Generator was raised by the Jeffcoat Stables Cordova Tennessee and owned at his time of death by C.H. Dennis and Frank Ditto of Memphis TN. He was sired by the late WGC Pride's Generator out of the great producing mare Babe's Leading Lady. PBG was campaigned by Charlie Weddington to the1992 4 YO stallion world championship and to over 20 championship stake class wins in the early to mid 1990's. His success as a show horse carried over to the breading barn. During his breeding career he sired top show horses such as 2xWC and 4xRWC The Great Escape, Nothin But Power, He's All Power, Generated Power, and Powers of Charm, just to name a few. He was consistently listed by the TWHBEA in there yearly sire of the year standings. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
