PAST Act Adds Sponsors

The Prevent All Soring Tactics Act (PAST Act) continues to add additional co-sponsors in both the House of Representatives and Senate. Since May 15, 2014 the PAST Act introduced by Congressman Ed Whitfield (R-KY) has added 9 additional sponsors. Those include Ann Kirkpatrick (D-AZ), Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), Trent Franks (R-AZ), John Garamendi (D-CA), David Jolly (R-FL), Kenny Marchant (R-TX), Richard Hudson (R-NC), Mark Meadows (R-NC) and Tim Ryan (D-OH).
On the Senate version introduced by Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) the last week has seen two additional sponsors added, Tom Udall (D-NM) and Kay Hagan (D-NC). The additions over the last week bring the total number of co-sponsors in the House to 281 and 53 in the Senate.
