P.C. Splash Classic Announces Judges



Todd Fisher, Executive Director of The Gulf Coast Charity Celebration, Inc. is pleased to announce the judge for the 2nd annual PC Splash Classic to be held July 30th, 2008 at the Bedford County Ag Center in Shelbyville, TN.

The judge will be:

This year the show will host the Walking Horse Trainers Association Riders Cup in eight classes:  2 Yr. Old Mares and Geldings; 2 Yr. Old Stallions; 3 Yr. Old Mares and Geldings; 3 Yr. Old Stallions; 4 Yr. Old Stallions, Canter; 4 Yr. Old Mares or Geldings, Canter; Stallions, 15.2 & Under, Open, Canter; and Walking Horse Championship Open.  We have made some very exciting changes this year.  The show will start at 6:00 p.m. and the gates open at 4:00 pm.   

The prize money is $125 (+ Halter)-$100-$80-$70-$60-Ribbons 6-8 places for all Rider Cup classes. The prize money is $85-$70-$55-$40-$30-Ribbons 6-8 places for all preliminary classes EXCEPT THE WALKING HORSE CHAMPIONSHIP OPEN (last class. The Walking Horse Championship Open prize money is $500 (+floral horseshoe, Cooler & Halter) $300 –200-150-100-Ribbons 6-8 places (no qualification necessary).

Mr. Fisher says, “It is Important for everyone to order and pay for sponsorships, reserved tables, box seating, rail passes, etc. on or before Friday, July 25th , 2008.   Reservations are needed because we have limited  space and seating available and they are going fast, so make your reservations NOW. Table locations, box seating, and rail passes will be given on a first come, first serve basis.

Mr. Fisher reminds everyone that “The PC Splash Classic can’t go on without the continued sponsorships and support” and encourages everyone to continue to support this great event.

Tables will include seating for 8, ringside location and a catered meal with fresh Florida Grouper (broiled and fried), fried chicken, J Michaels famous cole-slaw, “Sister” Grits, baked beans, salad and dessert.
