HARRISONBURG, Va. - The Tri-State Walking Horse Association held their show June 27-28, at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds in Harrisonburg, Va. Joe Campbell judged the 82 classes during the three session show. The Tri-State Association decided to make the “Big Stake” a specialty class to draw more interest and that it did. The crowd gathered around the ring and picked their favorite to for cheer, though only the man in center ring could give the final nod. Judge Campbell gave the roses to the only lady in the class, Donna Skelly and Twice’s Perfection. Another crowd favorite took the reserve honors, Benny Johnson and Broadway Billy.
