Long-time trainer and farrier Floyd Posenke underwent angioplasty and stent placement on August 7 after suffering an episode of chest pain.  Posenke has since returned home and is now resuming limited activity and expected to make a full recovery without any permanent damage to his heart.

Posenke's home and training barn are located in Springfield, MO. and he is one of the founding members of the Midwest Walking Horse Trainer's Association where he is currently serving a term as Vice-President.   Floyd and his wife Lynn wish to thank everyone for their prayers, cards, phone calls and acts of kindness during this recent illness and they look forward to seeing everyone at the next horse show where more than likely Floyd will be back in the saddle.
