Private Charter and Knox Blackburn made quite a statement Saturday night at the Gallatin, Tennessee Horse Show.  The reigning Reserve World Grand Champion staked his claim to the favorite's role for 2006 with an impressive demonstration in the final class.

This was Charter's first show of the year and it was one of his best ever as Knox called on his powerful stallion in the running walk on the reverse and left the crowd singing his praises.  Charter was shown 8 times in 2005 under the ownership of Hyneman.  He was shown 4 times in amateur competition by Caresse Mills winning three blues and one reserve.  Knox also showed the horse 4 times winning three times and tying reserve in the World Grand Championship Class to Main Power.

Knox's wins came at The Fun Show, The Celebration Aged Stallion Class and at Tunica, Mississippi.  There was little doubt that this horse would be at the head of this year's class and his show Saturday night solidified that position.
