GREENSBURG, Ky. – The VFW Ladies Auxiliary held their annual horse show on Friday, May 9, 2008, at the Legion Park in Greensburg, Ky. Grandy Tuck judged the 228 entries that made the gate call for the one night event.

Trainers from all around Kentucky made the trip with Martin Stables making the longest drive from Owenton, Ky. Two memorial trophies were given, one in honor of Harold Curry and the other one in honor of Jessica Hinkle.

A highlight of the show was when Jason Hughes and Energizer’s Playin Possum entered the ring with the crowd’s support behind them from start to finish in the Four-Year-Old Open Specialty class. Billy Ford and Another Pushbutton of Martin Stables won the Walking Stake class. Tom and Polly Ware of Cynthiana, Ky., own the talented horse.
