REELTOWN, Ala. – The Reeltown Liberty Lions Club held its annual horse show Saturday, April 18, 2009. With 35 classes and all of them packed with talent, the hard working group that puts on this horse show definitely enjoyed their successes. John Fikes of Hamilton, Ala., judged the show that consisted of walking horses, spotted horses and racking horses. A total of five horses made the gate call for the last class of the show. Tim Smith and Jazz Country were called to the blue and enjoyed their second Walking Stake win of the year. This team recently won at the Upper Cumberland Horse Show for G.L. and Beverly McNeill.
Many barns won multiple blue ribbons including: Bud Dunn & Son Stables, Rollie Beard Stables, Latham Stables, Jamie Lawrence Stables and Bill Cantrell Stables. For a complete list of results click here.
