Ricky Womack Recovering Well - Update 1/23/10

1/25/10 Update - Ricky will be coming home from the hosptial tomorrow if things continue to go well.

1/23/10 Update - Ricky continues to do well with chest tubes coming out today and rehab beginning. At present, they are discouraging visitors other than family.

Ricky Womack, manager of Rising Star Ranch in Shelbyville, is recovering following surgery Thursday at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. He underwent a three hour triple bypass operation after going for a checkup earlier that day with a cardiologist in Murfreesboro, TN.

The doctors expect to release Ricky from the hospital next Tuesday and he is expected to make a full and complete recovery. They informed him that he will be feeling much better now that all of the blockages have been by passed.

The Report joins Ricky's many friends in wishing him a speedy and complete recovery.

Ricky has now been moved to a private room.
