Rowland McLaughlin Benefit Horse Show Announcement

The North Carolina Walking Horse Association will be hosting a benefit horse show for Row McLaughlin on Saturday, March 30. The event will be held at the Lone Hickory Indoor Arena. Lonnie Messick will serve as the judge. For more information contact Terri Mosely at 336-786-2299.

As many of you know, four-year-old Row McLaughlin is the son of Jenny and Sam McLaughlin of Shelbyville, Tenn. Row was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease (CKD) in April of 2012, due to his kidneys not developing properly from birth. Because of this condition, he is now in kidney failure. Row is facing a kidney transplant in the near future and has been working with doctors at Vanderbilt for some time. Everyone who meets this precious little boy loves him.
