SCWHA Show Announcements

The Board of Directors of the South Carolina Walking Horse Association would like to invite everyone to attend the South Carolina State Championship Show to be held on Friday, Sept. 17 and Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010 at the T. Ed Garrison Arena in Clemson, S.C. Proceeds from the show will go to a great charity – the Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald House is a program that provides a “home-away-from-home” for families of sick and/or injured children so family members can stay close by their hospitalized child at little or no cost.

The State Championship Show will be affiliated with the PRIDE HIO. Judges for the show are Ed Abernathy, Steve Dunn and Duane Rector.
The host hotel for the show is the Microtel Inn and Suites in Anderson, S.C. Special rates have been given to the Association by the hotel so make sure to let the hotel know when you make your reservations that you are attending the SCWHA State Championship Show.

A pizza party will be held on Friday night after the show. Everyone is invited to come, eat and socialize with horse friends.

The Board is excited to announce the 2010 World Grand Champion crowned at this year’s Celebration will be invited to attend and exhibit.
