Second Annual Hats Off To The Celebration Contest

Shana Hughes 2015 Largest Hat Winner

Renee Carlton 2015 Most Beautiful Hat Winner

The “Hat’s Off To The Celebration” events will take place Saturday, Aug. 27th, and again we request everyone wear a hat (in the spirit of the Kentucky derby) to the show that evening! Last year 171 entries participated in the contest. This should be a fun time for the community and exhibitors.

We have added two categories to the “Best Hat” contest this year:

1. Largest hat

2. Most beautiful hat

3. Gentleman’s hat

4. AOD hat (amateur owned and designed)

5. Girls hat -11 years and under

6. Boys hat – 11 years and under

7. Family or group hats

8. Vintage hat.

The contest will be judged from 5:30-7:30, in front of the trophy case. Come by, fill out a brief entry form and the judges will preview your hat. You then step over to the screen where the photographer will take your picture. You can then proceed to the show. The winner’s will be announced mid show and be instructed to proceed to the entry gate. Convertibles will carry the winners around the ring in recognition of the win! Pictures taken at the screen and in the stands will be shown on the jumbo-tron throughout the evening. Join friends, family members, and barn mates to have your pictures taken together and HAVE FUN!!!
