Well-known and respected World Grand Champion rider Beverly Sherman suffered from an apparent heart attack while making her victory pass with One Cool Lady at the Dickson County Saddle and Bridle Horse Show. Dr. Cliff Garrard and countless others along with Dickson County EMT’s worked with Sherman until the ambulance arrived to take her to the local hospital in Dickson. After being stabilized Sherman was life flighted to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tenn. The Report has learned that Sherman had surgery to place three stints in her heart in the very early morning hours.
