SHOW HIO Coordinator Applauds Industry Progress

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. - Mr. Andy Messick, SHOW Designated Qualified Persons Coordinator said in a statement about the inspection process Friday night, “I have been involved in the inspection process for 14 years and the relationship between SHOW DQP’s and USDA VMO’s has never been better than it was Friday night at the Spring Fun SHOW”. Mr. Messick went on to say that the progress has got to be attributed to the trainer’s bringing clean, sound horses through inspection. One-hundred four (104) horses were inspected Friday evening and only four (4) horses were found non-compliant for a 97% compliant rate with both DQP and USDA inspecting horses.

Fun Show resumes tonight in the “Big Oval” at 6:00 p.m. Tickets available at the gates.
