South Grandstands to be Ready for Thursday Night
Tuesday, August 21, 2012
The TWHNC® announced the South grandstands construction project will be ready for the opening night of the 74th Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration®. Opening night in the outdoor stadium, Thursday, August 23 will feature a brighter, safer and more attractive South Grandstand. “Our fans will observe that things are a little different and certainly better than previous years. Along with these great changes, mandatory building codes were necessary to complete our newly finished construction project. I hope you are as excited as we are about the new stairways, walkways, handicap area, box seat area and lighting. Anyone that is not pleased with our improvements can be moved to a different location in the stadium,” says Dr. Doyle Meadows, CEO. Anyone wishing to relocate to another area in the stadium may contact Carolyn Reed, Ticket Office Manager at the Celebration.
