Pat Stout has filed a complaint in the Circuit Court for Putnam County against the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders' & Exhibitors' Association (TWHBEA) and John Does I-X.  Stout's complaint centers around her recent suspension of her membership from TWHBEA.  The TWHBEA Enforcement Committee found Stout to have violated the Code of Conduct and the TWHBEA Executive Committee suspended her privileges pending her cooperation with the investigation.

In the lawsuit Stout is seeking actual damages not to exceed $500,000 and punitive damages not to exceed an additional $500,000.  Stout claims that TWHBEA acted outside of its bylaws in removing her membership privileges.
