GREENVILLE, Fl. On the first weekend in October the Midnight Sun Charity Horse Show held its 5th annual horse show. Held at the Dixie House Plantation this event was full of hospitality and great horses. The Midnight Sun Charity Horse Show & Festival was October 1-4, 2008 with the horse show starting on October 3, 2008.

Mr. Gene Diddy of Bascom Florida donated a strawberry roan colt to the Midnight Sun Horse Show that was raffled off on Saturday night. All the proceeds for this young colt went to the Museum and Cultural center.

Wayne Abee of Shelbyville, TN was the judge for the 52-class event. Strollin Through The Ritz and Gary Edwards were the Walking Stake Champions for the Don Bridges Family of Dawson, GA

Multiple blues were won by several barns: Carl Edwards and Son Stables, Jeff Hatcher Stables, Ray Gilmer Stables, Knox Blackburn Stables and Bill Cantrell Stables.
