GLASGOW, Ky. - The 34th Annual South Central Kentucky Awards Banquet was held at the Barren River Lodge in Glasgow, Ky., on March 5, 2011. After a delicious buffet dinner it was time for the high point awards. Highland Stables carried home several top awards including Todd Smith being voted the Trainer of the Year. Following the awards the riders and trainers of World and World Grand Champions at the 2010 Tennessee Walking Horse Celebration were recognized.

Todd Smith received the Four-Year-Old Open High Point
honor for A Total Champion.

Nick Rippy, Kaitlyn Rippy, Nathan Oliver, Justin Taylor, Courtney Luttrell, Todd Smith, Ashley Shelton, Wesley Hendrick, Scotty Brooks, and Jason Hughes were all awarded medals from the SCKWHA and recognized for winning or tieing reserve at the 2010 Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration.
