SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. The 40th Anniversary National Walking Horse Trainers Show concluded its four day event with over 870 entries. Bill Bobo and Rowdy Rev made the unanimous ride for Bill Harlin in the championship stake class.  Rounding out the top three, also unanimous ties, were He's A Weekend Warrior and Joe Cotten and Gen On The Run and Justin Harris.

Cadillac's Bum and Jimmy McConnell won the Four-Year-Old Open class with Ozone's Cut Above All and John Allan Callaway finishing in reserve.  Saturday night's performance continued the show theme of full classes and high quality, making this year's Trainers Show the best in 10 years.

In the Two-Year-Old class, Encore's Pandemonium and Bill Callaway took the top spot for owner Bill Hill, giving Callaway both the Two-Year-Old Stallion and Mare & Gelding Trainers Show titles.  In the Three-Year-Old Classic class, Lebron James and Joel Weaver took it to the hoop and finished strong, claiming top honors for owner Brett Jones.

Shock Jock and Mickey McCormick picked up the blue in the 15.2 & Under class for Michael and Becky Coleman.  Johnny Puckett took 2007 WGC Coin's Black Stroke on the victory pass ride in the Open Show Pleasure Championship for Reginald Pimentel.  The amateur divisions were just as strong as the open classes.  Winners in the Amateur divisions included NYPD, The Golden Sovereign and He's Extraordinary.

Youth classes also highlighted the Saturday evening performances.  Lilly Waites and her new horse Prime Poison took home the Youth Ponies blue ribbon.  Watch N Bedazzled and Mary Morrison made the victory pass ride in the Youth Specialty Championship.

Taking home top honors in the pleasure division on Saturday night were A Flashy Gangster and Laura Brandon, Honor My Cash and Patrick Thomas, A Sure Fire and Lynn Marchetti, and Yao Ming and Bruce Hankins which won the Park Pleasure Championship.

In special Trainers Show classes Chad Williams directed the popular I'm Packin' A Pistol to the blue in the Young Trainers class.  Jimmy McConnell directed BeeBee King to the blue in the WHTA Past President class.
