Trainers' Show Kicks Off Season
Tuesday, March 11, 2014
The 46th Annual National Trainers’ Show will be held on March 13-15 in Calsonic Arena in Shelbyville, Tennessee. The National Trainers’ Show has traditionally been the “unofficial” kick-off to the show season and this year will be no different. The 65 class show will feature three nights of some of the industry’s best horses and intense competition. The show begins at 6:00PM CST each evening.
The National Trainers’ Show is the major fundraiser for the Walking Horse Trainers’ Association and provides the majority of the funding for the association’s operations throughout the year. The show will also feature a silent auction with proceeds benefiting Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, therapeutic riding programs and youth scholarships.. The Walking Horse Trainers’ Association now also hosts the Gulf Coast Charity Trainers’ Show in Panama City Beach, FL, which this year will be held April 24-26.
