Travis Wiley and Fudpucker Claim Lincoln County Walking Stake

STANFORD, Ky. - The Lincoln County Fair Horse Show held its annual walking and racking horse show on June 19 and 20, 2009. Terry Givens of East Tennessee judged the 33-classes of walking horses on Saturday evening. A memorial trophy and roses were given away in the Two-Year-Old Open class in honor of the late Bobby Burton. Burton was an avid horse lover and a trainer for most of his life. Keith Becknell won the class aboard Jose’s Dark And Shady.
Travis Wiley won the Walking Stake aboard Fudpucker for Gloria Wiley of Danville, Ky. Travis Wiley Stables also won three other blues to lead the blue ribbon tally and claimed one reserve as well. J & H Stables was close behind on the tally with three first and three reserves. Martin Stables claimed three blues, one being with Silverado Spirit, a five-time world champion, as well as two reserves. Terry Sims claimed three blues.
Hardly Able Stables and Keith Blackburn and Donald Todd Stables and Keith Becknell claim two blues each. There were several other wins during the event as well.
