TWHBEA Asks Celebration To Resign from Unity Committee

The Executive Committee of the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders and Exhibitors Association voted this morning to ask the Celebration to resign from the Unity Committee. The vote was reportedly 8 to 6.
As a courtesy, President Marty Irby informed Celebration Board and Unity Committee member David Howard of the EC's action at approximately 11:15. The Unity committee met this afternoon at 1:30, followed by a "Meet and Greet" function in the Blue Ribbon Circle on the Celebration grounds.
Official Motion: To approach the Celebration to leave the Unity Committe; if they refuse, we (TWHBEA) leave.

All were elected to two-year terms except Amanda Wright and David Williams, who each have one year left in their Board terms and are ineligible to run again due to term limits.
