TWHBEA Introduces Incentives

In response to the tough economic times and to the various issues effecting prices in the horse industry specifically, the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ And Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA) is extremely pleased to introduce three new incentives for Tennessee Walking Horse owners and enthusiasts the world over. “TWHBEA’s first priority is always to serve its members and the Tennessee Walking Horse community at large. The intent of these new incentives is to better serve and support those that love and enjoy our great breed,” states TWHBEA President Tracy Boyd. Breeders Vice President Mike Hicks, echoing Boyd’s sentiment, relates that, “each of these programs is designed to benefit our industry’s owners and breeders. In other words, our industry’s life-blood.”

Family Membership - TWHBEA is proud to introduce a new Family Membership option. This has long been requested as a cost saving option by both members and non-members and TWHBEA is happy to fulfill this request. The new Family Membership fee will be $100 and each Family Membership will include two adults and all household children under the age of 18. Comparable to full adult memberships, benefits available at this time for Family Memberships include one subscription to the Voice Magazine, voting privileges for two, access to all TWHBEA programs, the ability to conduct business at member rates and one free transfer or foal registration per year (Transfer must be executed within 30 days of purchase. Foal registration must be completed within six months of foaling and the applicant must be the owner of the mare at time of foaling.)

Grace Period - In an effort to both decrease the economic burden on our members and to increase the accuracy of our registry, TWHBEA will be offering a Grace Period starting March 4, 2013 and running though July 1, 2013. During this time, any transfer and/or registration, no matter how delinquent, will be accepted at regular stated fees without any late fees. In order to take advantage of this special, one-time offer, members must have all paperwork associated with the transaction complete by July 1, 2013 and that paperwork must be accompanied by the appropriate payment. TWHBEA realizes that at no time in the history of our breed has the accuracy of registration/ownership records been more important. It is hoped that this program will assist all of our members in updating and maintaining those records.

Diligent Discount Program - As a reward to our diligent members, TWHBEA will be offering a discount program starting March 4, 2013 and running through July 1, 2013. Under this unique program, once a TWHBEA member uses their free registration or transfer and purchases one registration or transfer at full price, they will be eligible for a series of discounts on subsequent registrations or transfers. A 10% discount will be applied to the first registration or transfer conducted after the purchase of the full priced registration or transfer, a 20% discount will be applied to the next registration or transfer and a 30% discount will be applied to each subsequent registration or transfer. This program is intended to recognize and reward those that have diligently kept up on their registration records.
