The class schedule for the 2013 Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders' And Exhibitors' Association (TWHBEA) National Futurity promises an exciting event for exhibitors and spectators alike. This year's show, which will be held July 28, 2013 at Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro, Tenn., will feature several new Futurity jackpot classes including Two and Three Year Olds In-Hand, Mare & Foal and Get of Sire. There will also be a Weanling Championship and a Yearling Championship in which the top two placing entries from each of the weanling and yearling classes will be invited to show back and compete for these prestigious titles. With an expanded slate of Futurity classes this year's schedule left only limited room for open classes. Considering the fact that the National Futurity will be held following the TWHBEA World Versatility Show and before the Walking Horse Owners' Association Pleasure International, it was decided that the limited number of open classes that were included should give exhibitors competing at those two events additional opportunities to show. The most prestigious showcase for our breed's top youngsters with the largest purse of any one-night show, the TWHBEA National Futurity is always a top highlight of any show season. Please join us as we recognize and celebrate the future of the Tennessee Walking Horse.
