The executive committee of the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ & Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA) met yesterday and made the decision to postpone the elections for the new executive committee until February 6, 2021. TWHBEA will still hold its annual director and membership meetings this coming weekend, December 4th and 5th. Both meetings will be zoom only.

The decision to postpone the election was made out of concern for the circumstances surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic. The rise in cases and inability for people to travel contributed to the decision to host only informational meetings via zoom this weekend and wait to conduct the election in February of next year.

As more information is released by TWHBEA, the Walking Horse Report will follow up and inform our readers.
