Friends of Sound Horses (FOSH) and its President Teresa Bippen recently sent a letter to the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders' & Exhibitors' Association requesting that all titles of World Champion and World Grand Champion be removed from their registration papers. In TWHBEA's response Acting Executive Director Walt Chism points out to Bippen that only the World Grand Champion receives such a mark and this year's World Grand Champion I Am Jose' has received that designation in consecutive years.
Chism also thanked The Celebration for their commitment to the programs of the Veterinary Advisory Committee and urged FOSH to follow the leadership of The Celebration and TWHBEA and establish those same protocols, which are above the requirements of the HPA, at FOSH shows.
