The Tennessee Walking Show Horse Organization (TWSHO) recently sent a letter to Missouri State Fair Director Mark Wolfe.  The Missouri State Fair is considering removing performance Tennessee Walking Horse from their horse shows in response to demands from animal activist groups.  The United States Equestrian Federation ((USEF) has threatened to pull its rating from the show if performance Tennessee Walking Horses are allowed to compete.  The USEF rating is important for other breeds that compete at the show.

TWSHO Chairman Frank Eichler sent the letter in support of the performance Tennessee Walking Horse.  Eichler’s letter takes a similar position to that of Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ & Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA) President Tracy Boyd in his letter to Wolfe last week.
