The United States Department of Agriculture will host a compliance discussion Feb. 9 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Blue Ribbon Circle Club, on the Celebration Grounds, in Shelbyville, Tennessee to cover topics related to the Horse Protection Act and more.
The information session is open to the public, including owners, trainers and exhibitors.
In addition to covering compliance statistics from the 2018 show season, the meeting will include an overview on the inspection process for the upcoming show season. Inspection demonstrations with Veterinary Medical Officers with live horses will be a part of the session.
