Versatility Shows in North Carolina and Tennessee

The Walking Horse Owners’ Association (WHOA) has two versatility shows scheduled for this Saturday, September 16th. The shows will be held in Lewisburg, Tennessee and Raleigh, North Carolina.
The Lewisburg show will be held at Rising Glory Farm and features 39 classes including versatility and game classes. Jesse Dotson will judge the show, which will begin at 9:00 AM.
The show in Raleigh is hosted by the Raleigh Lions Club and will begin at 8:00 AM in the outdoor warm-up ring at the Governor James B. Hunt Horse Complex on the North Carolina State Fairgrounds. Michael Culbreath will judge the 27 classes which include trail obstacle and reining. The show is being held in conjunction with the North Carolina State Championship Saddlebred and Morgan Show. According to Bill Whitley, assistant show manager, exhibitors should enter the fairgrounds through the entrance on Frank Weeden Drive. There is also an entrance (Gate 4) on Trinity Road.
