SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. – The first WHTA Super Horse Show was held Saturday morning, March 22, 2008. This show was designed to involve youth in a competition to show the versatility of the junior exhibitors and their horses. There were four classes and points were tabulated for the Super Horse. Each winner was given a cooler and a halter. Leather halters were also given to second through fifth places. At the end of the competition each participant also received a cooler if they had not won one, courtesy of World Champion Horse Equipment. The top three high point winners exhibited their horses Saturday evening and were presented with money before the large audience Saturday night.

Show Chairman Benny Johnson was very pleased with the large turnout in the classes and hopes that this competition will grow next year.
