Virginia Walking Horse Association Honors 2008 High Point Horses

HARRISONBURG, Va. - The Virginia Walking Horse Association held its annual banquet on Saturday, March 7, 2009, at Panos in Harrisonburg, Va. Fred Keesee gave the dinner invocation. Following the dinner everyone anticipated the awards part of the evening when tricolor ribbons, pewter trays with handles of sculptured horses and the two high point pleasure and performance awards filled the head tables.

President Richard Lloyd presented the awards while Co-Points Chairman Mary Swecker announced the winners. Following the dinner and awards the group relaxed and enjoyed the music of the Duce Is Wild band.

Join them on June 12–13, 2009, for the Virginia Celebration.
