Walking Horse Industry Welcomes Newcomers
Monday, March 4, 2013
The walking horse industry continues to expand with each year, and this year is no different. The Laurel Charity Horse Show, held March 2, welcomed owners/spectators, Eve and Guy Zimmerman all the way from Ladysmith BC Canada.
The Zimmermans are customers of Abernathy Stables located in Olive Branch, Miss. They enjoyed watching two of their horses excel at the show. Zavior's Shades Of Carbon claimed the reserve honors in the Trail Pleasure class while Rooster Cogburn Is Armed brought home the blue in the Park Pleasure Amateur Specialty class, both with Blaise Broccard in the irons.

Scott Tew presented Guy and Eve Zimmerman a special gift for being the spectators that traveled the farthest distance to the horse show.
