WARTRACE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Walking Horse National Museum received a grant for the second consecutive year for an Archival Grant. The museum is restoring, cleaning and color and audio correcting old films to restore them for future use. With the previous grant, they restored several old films, including new cases for the films. Several Celebration films were repaired, then saved to DVDs and are now clearly displayed at the museum.

The museum will continue to apply for grants until all of their archived films can be restored. The museum is open on Thursday through Saturday from 10:00 to 4:00. Their number is 931-808-6564.

Museum Treasurer Julia Cole explains to Secretary of State Tre Hargett how the films are restored as President Phillip Gentry and others listen intently.
