The Board of Directors of the Walking Horse Owners Youth Association (WHOYA) has announced plans for a convention the weekend of February 9-10 in Murfreesboro, Tenn. According to Renee' Puckett, president, the convention weekend will include a dance and membership meeting open to all youth. The dance will be from 8:30 - 10 in the James Union Building on the campus of MTSU. The WHOYA membership meeting begins at 1:00 pm at the Holiday Inn with numerous speakers scheduled and discussion of several projects the organization has planned for 2001.
