Shelbyville, Tenn. – Waterfall Farms welcomed a group of lawyers and judges from Caen, France on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010. The group is on a tour of Middle Tennessee as part of a program with the Nashville Bar Association’s Sister City program. Their itinerary included Waterfall Farms, the Celebration Grounds, Jack Daniel’s Distillery, as well as Miss Mary Bobo’s in Lynchburg, Tenn. David Williams of Waterfall Farms was on hand to explain the gaits, shoeing and breeding of the Walking Horse.
Much to the crowd’s delight, Bill Callaway demonstrated the breed with reigning Show Pleasure World Grand Champion, A Line Dancer. After Callaway’s exhibition, the crowd asked questions to both Williams and Callaway and posed for pictures with A Line Dancer.
The group previously delayed their trip to Middle Tennessee to assure they would be able to tour Waterfall Farms and were eager to learn about the Tennessee Walking Horse, as they are avid horsemen in their hometown.
