Jennifer Lee Berry, daughter of walking horse breeders, Dr. Fred and Elane Berry of Roland, Ark., wed Mark Spencer Rickert, son of Pamela Compton and Arnold Rickert of Nashville, Tenn., July 14, 2006 in Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. Officiator was Captain Jason Beck of Columbia, Rickert's commanding officer during his tour of duty in Iraq.

         The barefoot, beachside ceremony took place at 6:45 p.m. surrounded by family and friends. A solo violinist played throughout the ceremony. Reception at Sun Kissed house followed.

         The bride, wearing a gown by W1, was attended by her sisters, Dr. April Berry Turner of Little Rock, Ark., Mrs. A. Karen Benson of Springfield, Ark., and friends Mrs. Davilyn Hayes and Ms. Brandie Gartman both of Nashville, Tenn. All wore lavender fishtail Alfred Sung dresses. Miss Hailey Turner, Berry’s seven-month-old niece, was the honorary flower girl.

         Groomsmen were Bryant Neibruegge of Miami, Fla., Matthew Rickert of Austin, Texas, Andrew Rickert of Pheonix, Ariz., and Ryan Gaddis of Atlanta. The couple's dog Zeus was the honorary ring bearer.

         Following the honeymoon the couple are making Murfreesboro, Tenn., their home where Berry is completing her doctorate in education and Rickert is completing his masters in literature.
